Eyeshadow

The golden rule when it comes to matching your makeup to your dress, wearing a complementary color, never the same color. This includes everything from the rose family, such as purple, plum or burgundy shades. Instead, go for a neutral shade that will complement your eye color. Blue, gray and green eyes should be reinforced with light gray, champagne, gold or light brown eye shadow. Brown and black eyes can also wear gold, champagne, ivory or cinnamon brown.

Eyeliner and mascara

Once you’ve chosen your color eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara will decide the match. Grey eyeliner should be used with sliver and gray eye shadow for blue or green eyes. Brown eyeliner complements champagne, gold, ivory or brown on each eye color. Black eyeliner is the safest bet as it goes with any color of eye shadow and eye shadow. Follow with a mascara that matches your eyeliner.

Blush

Wearing a pink dress is a great way to show off with red cheeks. Choose a light pink color to wear. Even if your dress is hot pink, everything you need on your cheeks is a hint of color.
